If you have a motor which has stopped working or behaves erratically, one of the reasons could be because of faulty hall effect sensors inside the motor.

These sensors are usually glued in with cyanoacrylate adhesive (super glue) and soldered into a PCB (printed circuit board) on the armature of the motor.
